35 km from the Orpen Gate entrance to the world reknowned
Kruger National Park.
The ambience of the Bush camp makes for a truly relaxing stay.
Enjoy a fascinating bush walk or just relax under the Marula trees
by the splash pool and soak up the sights, sounds and smells
of the African Bush.
We are located on the R 531 Orpen Road:
Here you may encounter some of
the following game during your stay at
our Bushcamp:
Impala, Waterbuck, Kudu, Nyala, Bushbuck,
Leopard, Warthog, Bushpig, Reedbuck, Duiker,
Steenbuck, Chacma Baboon, Vervet Monkey,
Bushbaby as well as an incredible birdlife e.g.
Narina Trogon, Purplecrested Lourie,
Paradise flycatcher, Eagles and Owls.

Accommodation:
Six rustic Huts, seperated
from each other for privacy.
Three huts have two single beds and the
other three, double beds. Each has a
mosquito net, electric light, a plug point
and a fan. The chalets are provided with
bed linen and towels. Daily service
by our friendly, local staff.
Enjoy sitting on the covered outside porch just
right for late afternoon sundowners and
to reflect on the adventures of the day...
... later, evening in the bush begins when the
"braai-fire" is lit in the boma. Fallen logs replace
chairs, and the crackling fire, bush sounds
someties distant drumming, somehow enhance
the magnificence of the starlit African night.
Many stories have been shared and friendships
born around the fire...
Relax whilst we prepare and serve
traditional South African Food on the open fire
e.g. braai (barbeque) or potjie (e.g. Kudu stew)
with vegetables in a traditional cast iron pot.
Outside open-air shower (hot & cold water) &
flushing toilets complete the bush experience.
The splash-pool is surrounded by banana trees
and creates a tropical atmosphere.

A bird pond nestled in the bush behind the chill-room creates
a great opportunity to observe the rich birdlife
After an interesting bushwalk on one of our walking trails along
a seasonal dry river bed take the direct way to the bar, which is
a dream, swinging in one of the hammock chairs around an
old Chevrolet Nomad Jeep and sipping on an Amarula on the rocks.
